Alyssa Portz, Assoc. AIA

Alyssa Portz started her professional architecture career at Quigley Architects in 2013. She received her Master of Architecture degree from Ball State University and her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota.  While at the U of M, she was a member of AIAS, Freedom by Design, and the University of Minnesota Marching and Athletic bands, playing flute. At Ball State, she focused on refining her design thinking and dedicated her thesis to the integration of nature into the urban living environment, an interest that grew from the contrast of growing up in the Wisconsin countryside and living in Minneapolis during college.  Currently Alyssa is an associate member of the AIA and working towards her architecture licensure. When she’s not practicing architecture, Alyssa enjoys golfing, sketching and exploring the Twin Cities with her husband.
