Our clients reluctantly left their pedigreed Mid-Century Modern home in suburban Washington, DC when they relocated to the Twin Cities. So, they decided to build a home with a similar spirit in their new city.

 

Formal living and dining is at the front of this residence; kitchen/family gathering is the rear, opening to the terrace. The master bedroom at the back finishes the linear scheme of one-level living. The deep but narrow lot with a shared drive called for creativity when incorporating a garage -- we situated it at the midsection of the property.
