Our clients loved their South Minneapolis neighborhood and wanted to freshen up their Tudor-style home. With a strong desire to ‘honor’ the house's original architecture, we built an addition at the back of the house and created a bigger and more connected kitchen. The addition allowed a master bath and closet to be added upstairs. This remedied the common South Minneapolis problem of having tiny closets and only one bathroom. The basement was finished with a family room, bar, and dedicated laundry room. A terrace completed the backyard to provide an outdoor living area, accessible from both the kitchen and dining room.
